Of interest here is the announcement of the marriage of 2nd Lt. Veronica F. Schwieso, a member of the army nurses corps and a daughter of Mrs. William Beaver of Loyal, to Capt. Raymond Giesel. Captain and Mrs. Giesel are on overseas duty somewhere in the southwest Pacific.
