Braun, Marie (20 NOV 1943)

St. Mary’s Catholic church in Greenwood was the scene of a quiet wedding Saturday morning, Nov. 20, at 9 o’clock, when Miss Marie Braun, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Braun of the town of Loyal, became the bride of John Loos, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Loos, also of Loyal township. The Rev. J. Novak officiated.

The bride was attired in a white gown and carried white chrysanthemums. She was attended by her sister, Bernice, who wore a blue taffeta floor length dress and carried pink and white carnations.

The groom was attended by his brother, Clemens. Both the groom and best man wore dark suits.

Dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents to immediate relatives and friends. In the evening a dance was given at the Silver Dome ballroom, near Neillsville.

The couple will be at home to their friends at 1012 South Cherry street, Marshfield.

The Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for a happy wedded life.
