Abbotsford, Wis. - July 25, 1957

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Dale Toelle at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital July 18.

Mrs. Bernard Klinkhammer spent the past week in Minneapolis where her daughter, Miss Pat Gierl, is employed.

Mr. and Mrs. Myron Wepfer and children spent several days at Berlin. Mr. Wepfer was there on business and the family visited Mrs. Wepfer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson.

Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Christensen attended a dairy reunion at Racine.

Mrs. Mae Studinger of Medford spent several days with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Nikolay and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Buss and three children returned to Libertyville, Ill., after spending two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bobbe, and visiting with other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Johnson accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Martin Daenicke, spent the week-end in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Darrel Bobbe is building a 38 by 40 foot garage for his school buses.

Lamont’s service is building a new service station which will include a modern station, double drive and a large warehouse. The new building is being constructed on the present location on Highway 29. Service will continue during construction.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Klinkhammer have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Emily, to Harold R. Nielson of Oshkosh. His parents also live in Oshkosh. Miss Klinkhammer, a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Marshfield, will be employed at Mercy Hospital at Oshkosh. Mr. Nielson is employed there at North Central Airlines. August 24 has been set as the date of the wedding at St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford, Wis.

All telephones on the Abbotsford exchange will be on the dial system Wednesday, July 24. Switchover time is 7:00 A.M. Phone books with the new numbers will be distributed shortly before the switchover, along with complete instructions.
