Hammond, James G. (5 April 1950 - 1 October 1970)

Funeral services for James G. Hammond, 20, of Loyal who died October 1 from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on August 13, were held Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal. Msgr. Norbert King officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

James Hammond was born April 5, 1950, in Loyal to Mr. and Mrs. George Hammond. He received his education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School and attended Eau Claire State University. During the summer months he did construction work in Kenosha.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Jerry and William, both of Milwaukee; and two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Rose) Dusso of Menomonie and Mrs. Richard (Mary Ann) Hebert of Loyal.

Pallbearers were: Mick Weyhmiller, Steve Langfeldt, Kim Marine, Mark Needham, Dave Zimmerman and Bruce Rayhorn.
