Capes, Shirley S. (17 JAN 1948)

At a wedding ceremony performed at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church at Neillsville, Saturday, Jan. 17th, 1948, Miss Shirley Sherlyn Capes became the bride of Ellsworth G. Shock. The ceremony was read by the Rev. N. J. Dechant.

The bride chose as her attire for the celebrated occasion a light blue suit and wore a corsage of pink roses. Attending her was her cousin, Miss Yvonne Fricke of Curtiss, as maid of honor. She wore a caramel brown suit with black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. Attending the bridegroom as best man was a close friend, Vernard Swieso of Greenwood.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Capes, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), but will hereafter make her home in Neillsville, where her husband, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth G. Shock, Sr., of that city, is employed by the Svetlik Motor Co.
