Dietsche, Frances (Marriage - 27 June 1934)

A beautiful wedding was solemnized at St. Bernard’s Catholic church Wednesday morning at eight o’clock, when Miss Frances Dietsche, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dietsche, became the bride of Wm. Schoch, the Rev. Father Novak officiating. Miss Florence Dietsche, twin sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Bernice Dietsche, another sister, and Miss Ione Duval of Riplinger were the bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Joseph Schoch of Glidden.

The bride was attired in a lovely gown of white satin trimmed in lace and pearls, wore a waist length veil, and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor wore yellow taffeta and the two bridesmaids were attired in pink taffeta, all three wearing picture hats and bouquets of pink roses, carnations and white snap dragons. The groom and his attendant wore navy blue.

A large number of relatives and friends were present at the church and after the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to about 25 relatives of the bride and groom at the home of the bride’s parents.

The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schoch of Glidden, Mr. and Mrs. R. Bruckner of Rhinelander, the Misses Dorothy and Margaret Driscoll of Owen, and Mrs. Ben Dietsche, grandmother of the bride, of Spencer.

The bride has been employed in Chicago for the past few years, and the groom is a Soo Line employee. They left Wednesday for Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota on their honeymoon and will be at home to their friends in St. Point after July 15th.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Schoch have many friends here who join in wishing them happiness.
