Malinowski, Joseph S. (23 MAR 1904 - 18 JUN 1948)

Joseph S. Malinowski, aged 44 years, succumbed to a long, lingering illness at his home in the town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.), Friday, June 18, 1948. Final rites were conducted Monday, June 21 from St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Lublin. The Rev. Father Augustyn officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Stanley Sczesniak, Ted Lipinski, Stanley Pawlowski, Frank Sudial, Joe bak and Robert Galarowicz.

Joe, as he was known to his friends, was born March 23, 1904, in Poland. He came to this country with his parents at an early age, settling in New York State. He received his education at Buffalo, N.Y., after which he moved to Chicago where he resided for a couple of years before moving to Lublin.

On Aug. 30, 1927 he was united to marriage to Ross Wittek at St. Stanislaus Church at Lublin. Shortly after their marriage he purchased a farm in the Town of Hixon which he successfully farmed and has ever since resided.

Surviving his death are his wife, five daughters, Frances, Marcella, Josephine, Stella and Mary Ann; four sisters, Pearl Malinowski, Eleanor Sarafin, Mildred Zawacki and Viola Wross, and two brothers, Stanley and Bruno. One other brother, Andrew, preceded him in death.
