Braun, William (87th Birthday

On Tuesday evening a number of relatives and friends had a
surprise birthday party on Mr. Wm. Braun at his home northwest of Greenwood. He
was 87 years old.
The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Ed Braun and son
Edward, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Alperstett, Mrs. Louisa Horn, Mrs. Christina Horn, Rev.
and Mrs. E.G. Pfeiffer, Charles Varney, C.C. Hoehne and Leo Anderson.
Chas. Varney told many interesting stories of pioneer days and sang a song. A
delicious lunch was served.
The Gleaner joins his many friends in
extending best wishes and hope he will celebrate many morn birthdays.
