Louis Arbs and Lucian Butcher spent Sunday near Cameron fishing.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Carteron and children were at Dorchester Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Pratt and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Brown spent Sunday at Cornell.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Carl of Neillsville spent Sunday afternoon with the Irvin Carl family.

Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Varney returned home Sunday from their trip through the west.

Rev. and Mrs. Heilman and daughters were Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls visitors last Thursday.

The Braun Settlement 4-H Club will meet Friday evening, July 29th at the home of Melvin Alperstett.

Mrs. Palmer Vinger left Sunday for a few days visit with friends at Tomah and Sparta.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Rasmussen of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Arbs were Neillsville callers Wednesday.

John O'Connell, Albert Neuenfeldt and Henry Dill were Marshfield callers Friday.

Clayton Afkend, who is employed at Rochester, Minn., spent the weekend here with home folks.

Mrs. C. Macknick returned home Saturday from Fairchild where she spent three weeks with relatives and friends.

Mrs. P.W. Gullord spent from Friday until Sunday with relatives and friends at Marshfield. Mr. Gullord spent Sunday there.

Miss Patricia Keiner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keiner of Eau Claire, is visiting relatives here and at Loyal.

Miss Grace Caliebe entertained a number of friends in honor of her birthday anniversary on Friday evening. A delicious lunch was served.

Mr. and Mrs. I.W. Stafford spent a week at Yellow Lake near Spooner.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mashin of Neillsville had supper with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Carl on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Rasmussen of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Arbs were Marshfield visitors Thursday.

Miss Agnes Hart and Ed Pero of Chicago are visiting at the George Scherer Sr. home.

Mrs. Edna Mead of Thorp spent Sunday at the home of her son, Russell Mead and family.

Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Hartson of Neillsville were Sunday visitors at the H.H. Hartson home.

Miss Sophie Gosar, who is attending school at Eau Claire, spent the weekend here with her parents.

Rev. and Mrs. Geo. Heilman and daughters attended a Ministers conference and their families picnic at Marshfield on Tuesday.

Marcellus Hinker and Peter Losita of Chicago are spending the week at the Ed Hinker home, and with other relatives and friends.

Miss June Lindeman of Davenport, Iowa, is spending the week here at the home her mother, Mrs. Hilda Lindeman.

Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Bragstad and daughters Genevieve and Irene of Milwaukee are visiting at the Mrs. Ed Englebretson home.

About 60 relatives and friends helped Mrs. Gerald Jolivette celebrate her birthday anniversary Sunday. The afternoon was spent in visiting and a delicious lunch was served.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Orht and Mrs. James Slauson and children were at Rochester, Minn. Saturday, where they visited a sister of Mrs. Orht, who is a patient at a hospital there.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox were Neillsville callers Saturday evening.

Dalmain Flatz returned Monday from a few days visit at Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Michels and daughters were Marshfield visitors Sunday.

Albert Marg and Miss Ruth Winter of Neillsville called on Mrs. Irvin Carl Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. F. Neuenfeldt called at the home of his mother, Mrs. Emma Neuenfeldt Thursday.

Miss Nellie Sharp returned Saturday evening from Appleton where she had spent the past week with friends.

The Heinrich children of Wausau spent the weekend at the Carl Davey home.

Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Porter of Chippewa Falls spent the weekend at the Art Gehrman home.

Prof. Walter Morton and H.F. Stafford of Madison spent the weekend with Grover Noetzel.

Mrs. Augusta Carlstadt and grandson Harvey Carlstadt of Chicago are visiting at the David Danielson home.

Elmer Schauer of Chicago arrived here Friday for a week's visit with his aunt, Mrs. Hilda Lindeman and family.

The west Side Ladies Aid will meet at the church basement on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd with Division 6 entertaining.

Donald Loos, Mrs. Ruth Wiltsey, Mrs. C. Perkins and Irving Sherman spent Sunday at the Irva Hindal home at Sheldon.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Haeuser, son Garth and daughter Beverly, attended a family picnic at Wildwood Park in Marshfield on Sunday.

Fred Busch entered St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, last week where he underwent an operation for appendicitis and ruptured ulcers.

Mr. and Mrs. G.A. Meyer entertained a few relatives at a 6:30 dinner at their home on Friday evening in honor of the former's birthday anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stabnow, son Billy and daughter Ruby, spent Sunday at the Pete Boon home at Christie. Billy and Ruby remained for a longer visit.
