Lavandowska, Joyce E. (Marriage - 1950)

Announcement has come of the marriage of Miss Joyce E. Lavandowska, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Lavandowska of Greenwood and James Mead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mead, also of Greenwood. The wedding occurred in Michigan.

Attending the couple was Miss Beverly Rollins of Spencer, Miss Willean Lavandowska of Chili, cousins of the bride, and Donald Holt of Greenwood and Donald Rollins of Spencer.

The bride wore a white entrained gown of slipper satin featuring a net yoke and long sleeves coming to points at the wrists. A finger-tip veil was attached to a studded crown and she carried a bouquet of peonies surrounded by Canterbury bells.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Mead are graduates of the Greenwood High School.

They are living in Waukesha, where they have employment in a hotel.
