Schaefer, Etola #2 (14 AUG 1948)

Now on a honeymoon trip in northern Wisconsin are Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lindau, who marriage took place Saturday, Aug. 14, 1948, at 7:30 o’clock in the Lutheran Parsonage at Green Grove. The Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiated at the nuptial service.

The former Etola Schaefer is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schaefer of Abbotsford and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindau, Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.).

Attending the couple were the bride’s sister, Miss Rowene Schaefer as maid of honor; Alvin Lindau, best man; and Mr. and Mrs. Norman E. Schaefer, brother and sister-in-law of the bride.

Green gabardine was chosen by the bride for her suit, with which she wore gold accessories and a corsage of white roses. Her attendants wore suits of brown gabardine and navy blue, respectively and rose corsages.

The groom is a graduate of the Dorchester High School, Class of ’43, is employed at the Curtiss State Bank. The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindau left on their trip immediately after the ceremony and plan to return last night.
