Sniegowski, Miss (24 NOV 1948)

A farm near Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) will be the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sniegowski, who were married Nov. 24, 1948 at St. Hedwig’s Church, Thorp, by the Rev. Francis Piekarski. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Rogalski, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sniegowski, Thorp.

A white velvet gown with a long train was worn by the bride. She wore a full length veil and carried a white velvet muff with orchids.

Mrs. Blanche Jaskot was matron of honor in yellow velvet and carried yellow roses on a muff. Bridesmaids were Miss Loretta Sniegowski, Thorp, sister of the groom, Miss Anita Schafer, Owen, and Miss Jane Hmielak, Thorp, nice of the groom. They were dressed in aqua velvet and carried yellow roses on muffs.

Raymond Rogalski, Withee, was his brother’s best man. Other attendants of the groom were Chester Sniegowski, Thorp, brother of the groom, and Louis Przybylski, also of Thorp.

A reception, dinner, and supper were held at St. Hedwig’s Parish Hall.

Mrs. Sniegowski is a graduate of Owen High School and Mr. Sniegowski is a graduate of Thorp High School.

Following the wedding festivities the couple left for a honeymoon in Chicago and southern Illinois.

Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Elvis Norris, Mason, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lutz, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Schumacher and daughter, Kay, Elk Mound; and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Miller, Milladore.
