Mrs. Peter Beyerl, Sr., is at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Mrs. Joseph Sterzinger is a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Angus Lamont, Jr., underwent an operation on his knee at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hilber at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital December 5.

Mr. and Mrs. David Loos will leave in a few days for St. Paul, Minn., where David will be employed.

Miss Genevieve Allar visited over the week-end at Waukesha with her brother, James, and family.

Leo Andrew returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where he spent three weeks receiving medical treatments.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mandel spent several days in Milwaukee with Hugo Kobs who suffered a stroke.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Franz left for Anapolis, Maryland, where they will spend the holidays with their daughters and their families.

A son was born December 3 to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jewett of Ventura, Calif., formerly Colby people. Mrs. Jewett is the former Rose Ertl.

Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Nelson left for the west coast, for a visit with their sons and families, one at Los Angeles, Calif., and one at Seattle, Wash.

Mr. and Mrs. James Blanchard and daughter spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Blanchard and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weddig.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wilde and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carrol of Birchwood spent Friday at the James Wilde Sr. home and also visited at the John Fecker home at Abbotsford, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Draeger left Wednesday for Oshkosh where they will spend the winter months with their son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. Edwin Becker.

Mrs. Elmer Miessner of Loyal, the former Patricia Reeves of Colby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Reeves, underwent an operation at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital last Friday.

Miss Dixie Sossaman accompanied Airman La Vern Kalepp of Abbotsford to Monroe where she is visiting a school mate formerly of Colby, Miss Nancy Brightol. Airman Kalepp is on his way to his base in Oakland, Calif.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Halvor Becken, Jr., of Milwaukee, former Colby people, on December 5th. Halvor, Jr., is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Halvor Becken, Sr., and Mrs. Becken, Jr., is the former Sandra Steinwand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Steinwand.

Robert Hamilton of Round Lake, Ill., Mrs. August Strebe of Abbotsford and Mrs. Otto Brehm of Colby were at Wausau Saturday afternoon where they attended *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
