Abel, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore (Ruby - 15 October
1970)
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Abel celebrated their 40th wedding
anniversary Saturday evening with a dinner, attended by their three children and
their spouses, at the village plaza in Spencer.
Theodore Abel and Verna
Vollrath were married October 15, 1930, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
William Abel, in Greenwood by the Rev. Paul Franzmeier.
Their children
are Lester Abel of Kaukauna, Ronald Abel of Loyal and Mrs. Larry (Janis) Bosar
of DePere. They also have seven grandchildren.
They were presented with
six ruby glasses and a ruby sugar and creamer set by their children.
On
Sunday the group was entertained at the Gilbert Meyer home in Greenwood at
dinner.
