Peterson, Dolores (Marriage –1950)

Now honeymooning in southern Wisconsin and Illinois are Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Madler. The bride is the former Dolores Mae Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson of Marshfield and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Madler of Chili.

The wedding occurred at the Presbyterian manse in Marshfield.

The bride chose for her wedding a gown of white slipper satin. The bodice was trimmed with ice-blue sequins. Her gauntlets matched her dress and her fingertip veil was held in place by a Juliet cap.

The bridal aides were Mrs. Kenneth Dankemyer of Neenah and Miss Esther Grottke of Rockford, Ill. Attending the groom were Kenneth Dankemyer and DuWayne Schmidtke of McHenry, Ill.

The groom is a graduate of the Granton High School with the class of 1947 and is now employed at a store in Stevens Point.

The bride is a graduate of the Marshfield High School and was employed by an insurance company in Marshfield.

The couple will make their home in Stevens Point after September 1.
