Braun, Reinhardt Edward (14 Oct. 1868 - 21 Jan. 1958)

Reinhardt Edward Baum died at his home in Colby Tuesday, Jan. 21st, at the age of 89 years, old age complications being the cause of his death. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon, Jan. 23, at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mr. Baum was born in Adell, Wis., on October 14, 1868, where he married Emilie Kaiser in 1898. They came to Colby in 1900. Mrs. Baum died in 1954. One daughter also preceded him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Maida Hartkoff of Chicago, Ill., and Miss Vetive Baum of Colby; one brother, Otto Baum of Adell; one sister, Mrs. Clara Held of Swampscott, Mass.

Mr. Baum was well and favorably known by the older members of this community who will remember him for his friendly and congenial disposition, honest in all his dealing.
