Streckert, Lillian M. (Lange) (May 24, 1918 - November 20, 2008)

Lillian M. Streckert, 90, Abbotsford died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the Golden Living Center-Continental Manor, Abbotsford, Wis.

Lillian was born May 24, 1918 in Chelsea, to Otto and Mollie (Steiner) Lange. She married Ernest Streckert from whom she was later divorced.

Mrs. Streckert was the owner of Streckert Manufacturing, Inc. Lillian was one of the founders of Abbotsford State Bank, now AbbyBank, and was a member of its board of directors. Her work and her family were her life.

Lillian is survived by her three sons; Thomas (Sondra) Streckert, Colby, Jerrold Streckert, Reading, Mass., David Streckert, Abbotsford; three grandchildren, Mark (Cindy) Streckert, Unity, Cristina Streckert, Minneapolis, Minn., Elizabeth Streckert, Mountain View, Calif.; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin, Jonathan, Katherine and Lily Streckert, and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Streckert was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

Services will be Monday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, Wis. Rev. Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker will preside. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Streckert, Tyler Streckert, Benjamin Streckert, Norman Kommer, Dennis Westphal and Alan Deiler. Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to time of services at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, Wis.

Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
