Nowak, Laura (Marriage - 4 Dec. 1934)

Tuesday December 4, 1934 at four o’clock at the Rev. Franzmeier parsonage at Greenwood, Miss Laura Nowak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Nowak of Curtiss, became the bride of Mr. Elmer Voightlander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Voightlander also of Curtiss. The bride was attended by Miss Lillian Voightlander, sister of the groom and the groom was attended by the bride’s brother, Harold Nowalk.

The bride’s dress was a royal blue crepe, made tunic effect with a bouquet of roses and ferns, while the bridesmaid wore a robin egg blue crepe dress.

An eight o’clock supper was served to immediate relatives at the home of the bride’s parents. On account of the snow the wedding dance was postponed until a later date.

The young couple will make their home on his parents’ farm.
