Zimmerman, Berdine P. (3 DEC 1924 - 13 NOV 2008)

Berdine P. Zimmerman, 83, Unity, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at the Marshfield Care Center. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Calvary Bible Church, Marshfield. The Rev. Craig Conner officiated. Burial took place in Beaver Cemetery in the town of Beaver. Serving as pallbearers were Grant Reckner, Kevin Boyer. Eugene Prien, Harold Boyer, Tom Weis and Steve Weis.

Berdine P Molle was born on Dec. 3, 1924, in Unity, to Herman Carl and Lela Erma Alvina (nee Hoops) Molle. She attended Sunshine School in the town of Unity and Unity High School. She married Emanuel L. Zimmerman on Dec. 15, 1942, in Riplinger. He died on Nov. 5, 1008.

She had been an active member of the United Methodist Church, Dorchester, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher. They farmed in the town of Unity for 65 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and her children and grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Paulette (Ken) Reckner, Marshfield; a son, David Zimmerman, Marshfield; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Darlene (Eugene) Prien, Colby, Wis. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; and a sister Juanita Boyer.

Memorials may be designated in her name to Calvary Bible Church, Marshfield, or to the United Methodist Church, Dorchester, Wis. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com.
