Bobb, Ardis A. (25 JAN 1947)

Philip Raymond Neis, son of Dr. and Mrs. F. P. Neis, and Ardis Ann Bobb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bobb, all of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony in a ceremony performed by Father A. M. Muckerheide at a 9:00 o’clock nuptial mass at St. Bernard’s Church here on Saturday morning, Jan. 25th, 1947.

The couple was attended by Francis Neis, brother of the groom, as best man, and Florette Hetzel of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The bride was attired in an aqua colored suit, with a white orchid corsage. Her bridesmaid wore blue. The groom and his attendant wore born suits.

The wedding breakfast and reception was attended by the immediate families of the couple at the home of the bride’s parents in the Town of Reseburg, and the newlyweds left later in the day on their honeymoon.

They will reside in Milwaukee, where the groom is a student at Marquette University.

Out of town guests a the wedding were Lt. Commander E. J. Klink and sons, Florette Hetzel and Richard Bauer of Milwaukee; Helen Bauer of Minneapolis; Francis Neis of Janesville; Leon Papierniak and Irene Bobb of Madison and Alice Bobb of La Crosse.
