On Saturday morning, Feb. 15, 1947, Helen O’Kon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. anton Wolowik, became the bride of Theodore J. Papierniak, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Papierniak, of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), in a ceremony performed by Rev. Francis Piekarski at a nine o’clock Nuptial Mass at St. Hedwig’s Church.

The bride was dressed in a peplum style beige gabardine suit with brown accessories. Her corsage consisted of orchids. Her brother, William Wolowik of Mayville, Wis., escorted her to the altar. The bridesmaid, Miss Florence Norysiewicz wore a gold suit with black accessories and corsage of red roses.

The groom wore a brown suit and the best man, Leon Papierniak, wore dark blue.

A wedding breakfast was served at the groom’s parental home to the immediate family, a 6:00 o’clock dinner to relatives and friends.

Out of town people who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wolowik of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. William Wolowik of Mayville, Wis.
