Soderberg, Doris (7 APR 1947)

At a nuptial mass at St. Robert’s Church, Shorewood, Wis., on Monday, April 7, 1947, Miss Doris Loraine Soderberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Soderberg, became the bride of Robert E. Cleary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cleary of Shorewood. Rt. Rev. Msgr. P. T. Reilly officiated.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown fashioned with a bodice of white satin and a full marquisette skirt which ended in a train. Her illusion veil fell from a coronet of rasepoint lace. And she carried a colonial bouquet of white roses and sweet peas.

Her bridesmaid, Miss Elizabeth Fluherty of Milwaukee wore a gown of soft yellow net with a matching coronet and gloves. She carried a bouquet of lavender sweet peas with a center of violets.

The groom was attended by his brother Phillip and a friend of the groom Daniel Sullivan was usher.

A wedding breakfast was served to the immediate families at the Surf.

The couple left on a honeymoon immediately after. They are now at their home at 2121 E. Capital Dr., Shorewood, Wis.
