LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST

Otto Dunow and family visited Sunday at the Fred Ostenson home.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Kuehing and sons visited relatives at Marshfield Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Schwandt called Sunday at the home of Mrs. J. Klemetson.

Miss Geraldine Ecke of Marshfield is visiting relatives and friends here this week.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Jens and Mr. and Mrs. A. Johnson were Colby visitors Sunday evening.

Miss Beulah Brady, who has been visiting relatives at Stanley returned home Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Morgan of Unity visited at the home of their son, R. H. Morgan Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Johnson and Mrs. H. Peterson and son Lauren were Colby callers Saturday evening.

The Helping Hand Society will meet Friday afternoon August 22nd at the home of Mrs. Fred Pudlas.

Dean Law of Ashland and Clarence Rice of Stevens Point were the guests of Franklin Matthias Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sills and daughter of Abbotsford visited Monday evening at the Frank Schroeder home.

Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green and Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Green and family spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Brady.

The Misses Hazel and Selma Knight of Milwaukee are spending their vacation a the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Knight.

CURTISS MEAT MARKET ADDS GROCERY LINE

Harry Jens, proprietor of the Curtiss meat market is adding a fine up to the minute line of groceries which he will handle in connection with his line of meats.

The merchandise is being placed on the shelves this week and the store will be open for your patronage Saturday morning.
