Dobrzynski, Delores (10 MAY 1947)

In a beautiful wedding solemnized May 10th, 1947 at St. Mary’s of the Angels Catholic Church in Chicago, Miss Delores Dobrzynski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Dobrzynski of Chicago became the lovely bride of Edwin Kaszubowski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aleck Kaszubowski of Thorp (Clark Co), Wis. Rev. Brzezinski performed the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose as her wedding gown, marquisette with lily of the valley sprays with a sweetheart neckline and train length skirt. She wore a blusher veil of fine tulle beautifully adorning the bride’s head with a beaded crown.

The bride wore a double strand of pearls and beautiful diamond earrings, the wedding gift of the groom. The bridal bouquet was of white calla lilies. The bride presented a bouquet of gladiolas and snapdragons at the altar of the blessed mother.

Miss Mary Mizura of Cicero, Ill., friend of the bride, was maid of honor, Patricia Dobrzynski was the flower girl, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Gladys Dobrzynski, sister of the bride and Janet Dobrzynski, cousin of the bride.

They chose their dresses of pink and blue taffeta with a bertha collar and a bustle. Their bouquets were a spray of pink and yellow snapdragons with pink ribbons. Their head pieces were a spray of flowers.

The ushers were Andrew Depa and Frank Cukla. The groom and his attendants wore tuxedos with carnation boutonnieres.

The bride’s and groom’s mothers were dressed in teal blue dresses with corsages of white and pink carnations tied with white ribbons.

The reception was held at Banickes Hall at 6:30 p.m.

The happy couple left for a two week honeymoon. After the honeymoon they will make their home in Chicago where they both are employed.

Out of town guests were Mrs. Aleck Kaszubowski, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hryniewicki, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hryniewicki of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Karter of Superior, Wis., Mrs. Myrtle Nolan of Coquet, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Yench of Melrose Park, Mrs. Frances Dobrzynski, Mrs. V. Swiontek of Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. George Strzok and son of Milwaukee, Lorrain Strzok of Thorp.
