Stroinski, Ted (20 SEP 1901 - 6 JUN 1947)

Ted Stroinski passed away at his farm home in the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on June 6th, 1947, after a lingering illness. He had reached the age of 45 years, 8 months and 16 days.

Born Sept. 20, 1901 at Thorp, Wis., he spent his entire life in this community. On Aug. 24, 1927, he was united in marriage to Ann Wilcenski at Thorp. Mr. Stroinski operated the dray line in the village for several years, later moving to a farm just north of here, from where he distributed milk to the families of this community. He moved on his present farm about three years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Stroinski, one daughter, Leona, at home, two sons, Raymond and Theodore Jr., at home, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Stroinski of Thorp, two brothers, John of Thorp and Frank of Chicago, three sisters, (Verna) Mrs. Mike Teclaw and (Josephine) Mrs. Charles Wechlacz of Thorp and (Edna) Mrs. John Seleski of Chicago. Two brothers, Joseph and Mike, and one sister, Anna, preceded him in death.

Last rites for the deceased were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Tuesday morning, June 10th at 10:00 o’clock, Rev. Father Piekarski officiating and interment taking place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews, victor Wechlacz, Alois Teclaw, Malen Teclaw, Roman Stroinski, William Wojcik and William Wilcenski.
