LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST

Mr. and Mrs. E. Neitzel and family drove to Medford Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kuehling were Marshfield visitors Monday.

Several ladies spent Friday afternoon a the home of Mrs. Chas. Jakel.

Mr. and Mrs. Morgan of Unity, spent Sunday at the R. H. Morgan home.

Mrs. O. A. Sturner visited Sunday at the home of her father Fred Ostenson and family.

Ralph Green and daughters and A. Kuehling and sons were Chippewa Falls callers Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. B. b. Green spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nietzel at Abbotsford, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Ravy and family of Unity, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick.

Mrs. R. Kocke, Mrs. Frank Hamm, Miss Elise Rahn and Fred Rahn were Marshfield visitors Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sills and daughter Betty of Abbotsford, spent Sunday at the Frank Schroeder home.

Friday evening a few friends and relatives surprised Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green at their home, the event being Mr. Green’s birthday anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jens and son Lester and Mr. L. Millard drove to Gillette Sunday to get Mrs. Millard and little son who will make their home here.

KUEHLING HOME BURNS SATURDAY MORNING

Saturday morning the Albert Kuehling family were suddenly awakened by fire in their home which started as near as can be discerned, in the upper part of the house.

Mr. and Mrs. Kuehling escaped with just their night apparel, none of their clothing or furniture was saved.

They are rather undecided as to what they will do, but at present are staying with the Wm. Neitzel home.
