LOCAL SCOUTS ATTEND COURT OF HONOR
At a Court of Honor of the Chippewa Valley Boy Scout Council held at Chippewa Falls Wednesday evening, special merits were awarded to five scouts of the local troop.
Charles Golden, an eagle scout and assistant to Karl Rice, scout master, received badges of special merit for farm mechanics and dairying.
Richard Paynter became star scout and received badges for stamp collecting, personal health, civics and reading.
