Brown, Ella Etta (Marriage - June 1935)

The Ward Browns’ only daughter, Ella Etta, was married recently to Gilbert Harry Anderson, in one of the most attractive weddings of the season. The scene was the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Marinette, where Rev. Charles S. Pier read the service at 4 p.m. The double ring ceremony was used.

Miss Alice Anderson, the bridegroom’s sister, as maid of honor led the wedding procession, followed by the bridesmaid, Miss Emmy Lou Howell. Directly preceding the bride down the ribbon marked aisle was the tiny flower girl, Marlene Joan Moritz of this city.

Mr. Anderson was attended by Behrendt Cearfoss and Eldore Johnson.

Mr. Anderson, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Anderson of 110 Pen-Gilly street, is in the employ of Charles G. Janson and Company. His bride has been employed at the Boreal Manufacturing Company in Marinette. Both were graduated from the Menominee Business college and attended Iowa University.
