Johnson, Irene D. (11 OCT 1947)

Miss Irene Dorothy Johnson, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Ing. Johnson, and Charles Black, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Black, all of Eau Claire, were married Saturday, Oct. 11, 1947, in Stillwater, Minn., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. L. A. Jiemer.

The bride wore a brown suit with green accessories. Her corsage of white gardenias and yellow roses. She was attended by Miss Lois Kloss, who wore a green suit with brown accessories. Her corsage was of pink and white gardenias.

The groom was attended by his brother, Roy Black, who is serving in the army.

The couple will make their home in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), where the groom is employed at the Gamble Store.
