Erickson, Annette Lorraine (Marriage - 11 Sept. 1958)

Annette Lorraine Erickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Erickson of Unity, and Allen Emery Schjoneman of Colby, exchanged marriage vows in Zion Lutheran church Saturday afternoon, Sept. 11, at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. William R. Christian reading the marriage ceremony.

The bride was attired in a floor-length gown of chantille lace and tulle. The neckline was designed in Sabrina style with long sleeves. The full skirt had inserts into the tulle with matching chantille lace. The fingertip veil was held in place with a crown of pearls and sequins. Her crescent bouquet consisted of red roses and carnations.

The maid of honor, Miss Sandra Erickson of Unity, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids, Miss Janice Schjoneman of Colby and Miss Bonnie Garbisch of Granton, wore similar orchid ballerina-length gowns of lace and net with three-fourths Italian sleeves and Sabrina neckline, tiers of ruffles on back of skirt. Crown headpieces had lace veiling. Their cascade bouquets consisted of yellow and white carnations.

The groom was attended by Clinton Schjoneman of Unity as best man and Donald Rhodes and Virgil Christianson, both of Marshfield, as groomsmen.

A reception was held at the Colby city hall recreation room and dinner was served at the Lutheran hall.

After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and Michigan, the couple will be at home in Unity, Wis. The groom is employed by the Schjoneman Trucking Line.
