Mis Charrolette Marie Carstensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Carstensen of rural Granton, became the bride of Ralph A. Jansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jansen of rural Neillsville, on Saturday, November 14. The Rev. Charles D. Brady performed the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony before 200 guests at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length, white satin gown trimmed with lace. The dress was styled with a satin train and was accented by a finger-tip veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white mums.

Miss Judy Ann Carstensen, maid-of-honor, wore a blue velvet, floor-length gown trimmed with white lace. Bridesmaids Miss Judy Yanta and Miss Georgia Carstensen wore brown velvet, floor-length gowns trimmed with brown lace. All carried bouquets of blue flowers.

Michael Opelt served as bestman. Groomsmen were Robert Yanta and Gus Schneider. Virgil Lezotte and Michael Barth acted as ushers. Ringbearer was Allen Drescher and flower girl was Cynthia Carstensen. Music was provided by Mrs. Glenn Short and the church choir.

A wedding reception for 200 guests was held at Bali-Hai.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of Neillsville Schools. Mr. Jansen is employed as a truck driver for Hedigers.
