Mrs. Mable Palms and sons Freddie and Jack came from Minneapolis to spend the 4th and a couple of weeks at the F.E. Dean home.

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Fradenburg and sons Malcomb and George came from Rockford, Ill. to spend the 4th and stayed over till Monday with the C.J. Bigelow family. Mrs. Fradenburg was the adopted daughter of L. Bartels and when a small child lived in Greenwood.

All are pleased to know that Mrs. Voight is on the gain.

Haying is the order of the day in this vicinity.

The Szolgar Bros. returned to Lincoln, Ill. after 14 days work on their farm here blowing stumps and clearing. They improved the looks very much.

Florence Palms is visiting the home folks, having a two week vacation from the Drummond packing house in Eau Claire.
