Coilby, Wis. - Dec. 18, 1958

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Strade of Oshkosh visited relatives here Sunday.

Mrs. Harold Glenzer returned home from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where she underwent surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. William Becherer are now making their home at the Havenet Nursing Home at Owen.

Ed Becker, who had been treated at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital for a heart ailment, has returned to his home.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Beck left from Wausau by plane for Louisville, Ky., where they will spend an indefinite time with relatives.

Conrad Orth, Sr., assessor for the city of Colby, spent three days in Milwaukee where he attended a school for assessors.

David Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rod L. Cook of Colby, Route 2, is listed on the fall quarter of honor roll at Wisconsin State College at River Falls. To be named to the honor roll, a student must obtain a grade point average of 3.5, midway between an "A" and a "B." Ninety-six students, or eight per cent of the total enrollment of the college, were named to the list. Twelve of these students received straight "A’s." Mr. Cook is a freshman in the secondary education curriculum.
