Ingersoll, Robert Gerald (15 Oct. 1913 - 12 Nov. 1935)

Robert Gerald Ingersoll, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ingersoll of New London, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the hospital as a result of an injury and scarlet fever, after an illness of about a month.

Gerald was born in New London, Oct. 15, 1913, and was 22 years old at the time of his death. His family moved to Abbotsford in 1914 and remained here until 1927. He attended the local school and later graduated from the New London High School, where he was an honor student.

A private service was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock due to the fever.

He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ingersoll, three sisters, Mrs. Ed. Ward and Mrs. Andy Tobble of New London and Irene Ingersoll of Watertown; and two brothers, Clark and Guy, New London; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Ingersoll, Abbotsford and grandmother, Mrs. F. J. Cornell of New London.
