Bradle, Ruth M. (25 NOV 1947)

Ruth Marie Bradle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bradle of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Edward George Brunett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brunett of the Town of Worde (Clark Co.), in a double ring ceremony performed by Rev. Leo Pollack at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Stanley at 9:00 Tuesday morning, Nov. 25th, 1947.

The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of satin with lace insertion, a fingertip veil and tiara of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white mums, carnations and pink roses, and wore a gold chain and cross about her neck.

She was attended by Loretta Brunett, groom’s sister, who wore a deep orchid faille gown with deep red velvet blouse and matching headdress. Phyllis Tollefson was dressed in a lime green faille gown with red velvet blouse and matching headdress. Both bridesmaids carried bouquets of white mums and American red roses.

The groom and his attendant Edwin Stanek, wore brown suits with white carnation boutonniere.

The bride’s mother was attired in navy blue and the groom’s mother in royal blue. Both wore corsages of white carnations and red roses.

A reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents where forty guests were served at dinner and supper. A dance was given to the couple’s many friends at the American Legion Hall in Thorp in the evening.

The newlyweds will reside on a farm south of Stanley.
