Wolf, Anna (26 JUL 1883 - 10 JAN 1948)

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. M. Muckerheide at St. Bernard’s Church in the village at 9:30 a.m. for Anna Wolf who passed away at Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), after a lingering illness on Saturday, Jan. 10, 1948.

Anna Wisbar was born in Lithuania on July 26, 1883, and had reached the age of 64 years. She came to Thorp (Clark Co.) forty-two years ago.

Left to mourn are two sons, William Wolf of Thorp and John Wolf of Chicago; five daughters, Helen (Mrs. Stanley (Petrauska), Mary (Mrs. Phil Redmond), of Chicago, Anna (Mrs. Steve Andrews) of Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Velda Powers of San Pablo, Calif. And Mrs. Bertha Bendzuinas of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brady and Mrs. Frances Powell of Pittsburgh and a niece, Millie Oswald of Pittsburgh.

She was laid to rest in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, the following serving as pallbearers: Fred Petrulis, Walter Jarocki, Albin Kurtinaitis, wm. S. Wagner, Peter Kaz, and Joe Zielanis.

Relatives from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were: Mrs. Philip Redmond, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Petrauska and John Wolf, of Chicago; Mrs. Steve Andrews of Washington; Mrs. Mary Brady and Miss Millie Oswald of McKees Rocks, Pa.
