Wojt, Rose A. (29 Aug. 1917 - 18 Dec. 2008)

THORP -- Rose A. Wojt, 91, of Thorp died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will follow in Old St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rose Adeline Lubrandt was born Aug. 29, 1917, in the town of Withee, rural Clark County, to Joseph and Catherine (Grabarkiewicz) Lubrandt. She was united in marriage Aug. 19, 1944, to Anton J. Wojt at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. They lived and farmed in the town of Withee until 1974, when they moved to the city of Thorp.

She is survived by three sons, Gerald J. (Patricia) Wojt of Gilman, Anton V. Wojt of Withee and David D. Wojt of Goldendale, Wash.; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Anton, in 1995.
