Carl buss, age 61, was found dead in bed Wednesday morning at the Ammentorp farm in the Town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.), where he worked and lived.
Buss died between 10 and 11 o’clock Tuesday evening. He had been in ailing health for several months past.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ray Auberg and Mrs. Howard Blazer, and one son, Gerald.
Burial services are expected to be Friday afternoon, being interred at the East Thorp Cemetery.

Carl Buss died of self inflicted slashes in his arm with the resultant loss of blood, at the Amacher farm home in the Town of Longwood, where he was employed and lived, on Feb. 10th, 1948.
Carl Albert Buss had reached the age of 61 years, 9 months and 17 days. He was born in Michigan on May 23, 1886. He had resided in the Towns of Reseburg and Longwood for many years.
Surviving relatives are one son, Gerald of Withee, two daughters, Florence (Mrs. Howard Blazer) and Veryl (Mrs. Roy Auberg) of Withee; two brothers, Wm. Buss of St. Paul and Herman buss of Stanley; three sisters, Mary (Mrs. Ed Beller) of Thorp, Amelia (Mrs. Jos. Ziehr), Cadott, and Anna (Mrs. John Wilson) of Pearson, Wis.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L. T. Droegemueller, pastor of the Ev. Lutheran Church at two o’clock Feb. 13th. Interment took place in the East Thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bernard, Elmer and Albert Buss, Ed Ziehr, George F. Schmidt and Reuben Rossman.
Out of town relatives who were her to attend the funeral services of Carl Buss Friday were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Buss of Neenah; Mr. and Mrs. Albert buss of Menasha; Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Ziehr and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ziehr of Cadott, Clara Roesler of Eau Claire, Hilma Roesler of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Christdorf of Boyd, and Rev. and Mrs. F. H. Sprengler of Dorchester, Wis.
