Severson, Emma (1861 - 1 May 1936)

Mrs. Emma Severson, aged 75 years, died at her home in the town of Holton, Friday night, May 1, of jaundice and other complications.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:20 at the home with internment at the Abbotsford cemetery, the Rev. George Groh officiating.

Her husband, Hans Severson, died about four years ago and an only daughter, Lillie, also preceded her in death.

The family had resided on their present farm about 45 years.

Relatives here to attend the funeral were a brother, Gustav Rocbrandt of Westfield; and four sisters, Mrs. ? Schrank, Coloma, Mrs. Helen Eber of Oshkosh, Mrs. Erna Krentz, Montello and Mrs. Charles Zimmerman, Fond du Lac.

The pallbearers were Wm. Westphal, Herbert Jacobi, Herman Johnson, Leo Denzin, Wm. Hause and Frank Baronsky.

The deceased, Emma Rocbrandt, came from Germany to America at the age of six years. She was united in marriage to Hans Severson in 1884. They lived on the farm in the town of Holton since 1888.
