FATHER OF TIOGA MAN KILLED ACCIDENTALLY

Gun Discharged While Victim Was Crawling Through Fence On His Farm Tioga, July 25--Word was received Monday morning by Frank Van Horn of the accidental death of his father, Tom Van Horn, which occurred earlier that day. On Sunday the family had been away from home and returning they found that the dog had killed and eaten a lamb. The dog came back during the night and Mr. Van Horn took his gun and while crawling through a fence the gun discharged, shooting him through the heart. Grant Van Horn, a brother of Frank, came from his home near Alma Center and Frank returned with him.
