Wolfe, Emma E. (6 OCT 1882 - 3 APR 1944)

Funeral services for Mrs. Ederick Wolfe (Nee Emma Emilie Otto) were held at Trinity Lutheran church on Friday afternoon, April afternoon, Apr. 7, with the Rev. J. C. Langholz officiating. Mrs. Wolfe died suddenly at St. Joseph’s hospital in Marshfield Monday afternoon, Apr. 3, as the result of a heart attack following a chimney fire at the Wolfe home.

The daughter of Carl and Emilie Otto, Mrs. Wolfe was born in Germany on Oct. 6, 1882, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in that country. When she was 20 years of age, she came to Milwaukee for about a year and a half. She lived in Hartford for about four months before coming to Loyal in 1904.

She married Ed Wolfe in Milwaukee on June 11, 1904. This union was blessed with seven children, four sons and three daughters, all of whom survive. They are: Erna Fina, Agnes Paddon and Paul Wolfe of Milwaukee, Margaret Foelsch of Beaver, and Alvin, Arthur and Milton Wolfe of Loyal. Also surviving are: her husband; four sisters, Minnie Wilde of Porterfield, Ida Fina and Frieda Kohls of Milwaukee and Minnie Bergold of Marinette; two brothers, George Otto of Loyal and Carl Otto of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wolfe of Juneau, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wolfe of Hartford, Mr. and Mrs. William Loeck of Beaver Dam, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Martini of Thorp, and 11 grandchildren.

In charge of the flowers were Mrs. Ferdinand Gotter, Mrs. R. F. Gotter, Mrs. Herman Konschak, Mrs. Jake Henseler Sr., Mrs. William Kleszinski, Herman Thiel, Alma Pieper, Delores Pieper, Beverly Pieper, Mavis Otto and Shirl Lee Brussow.

Pallbearers were Ferdinand Gotter, R. F. Gotter, Herman Konschak, William Kloszinski, Herman Thiel, and Jake Henseler Sr.

The Tribune adds its sympathy to that of friends and neighbors to the bereaved relatives.
