Scheel, Helen Alma (26 Dec. 1898 - 24 Aug. 1937)

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Scheel, 38, who passed away of a heart ailment at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday, were held from the former Reformed church building, at Colby, Saturday afternoon.

Internment followed in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. F. W. Petran, Juneau, conducted the funeral rites. A brief service at the home preceded the church service and the hymn, "God Will Take Care of You" was sung by Mrs. Charles Pors, Marshfield, who also sang "Under His Wings" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" at the church.

Pallbearers were Lewis Hardrath, Wm. Schulthause, Ralph and Roland Scheel, Herman Smith and Walter Hake. Those in charge of the beautiful floral tributes were Betty, Marthell and Eileen Scheel, Jeanette Fredrickson, Marcella Keller, Eileen Keller, Marion Dallman, Gertrude Gosse, Yvonne Schulhauser and Marie Hake.

Out of town people here for the funeral were Miss Anna Gosse, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Oetroph, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lorfeld, Sheboygan; Mrs. F. Mill, Mrs. Reuben Stoltersberger and Mr. and Mrs. A. Boleen, Lake Mills; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Schmidtt, Mrs. Hattie Ratreager, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lorleffler, Mrs. Martha Benedict, and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kornhorst, Wausau; Mrs. Henry Eickhoff, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thomas, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Oertel, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. A. McHone; Granton; Mrs. Harry Hansen, Withee; and Miss Lena Thomas, John William, Mrs. Robt. Thomas, and Miss Alfrieda and Charles Thomas, Sherry.
