Klemetson, Morris (8 Aug. 1888 - 11 Feb. 1959)

Morris Klemetson of Curtiss, Wisconsin died last week Wednesday at the age of 71 years at his home of a heart attack. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen and interment was made in the Curtiss Lutheran cemetery. Pall bearers, all grand sons, were Delbert Uhlig, Alfred Uhlig, Robert Uhlig, Adrian Strom, Norbert Hartl and Dale Ellison. Mrs. Andrew Knopp, accompanied by her husband, sang "Jehovah God My Shepherd" and "God’s Righteous Requirement." Ralph Johnson, minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses, officiated.

Mr. Klemetson was born on August 8, 1888, in Oslo, Norway. He came to the United States as a child with his parents and settled in the town of Mayville where he lived since. He was engaged in farming and carpenter work. He retired five years ago. He married Kate Schiszik at Curtiss on September 11, 1911.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Lawrence, Floyd, Harvey and Laverne, all of Curtiss; four daughters, Mrs. Paul (Alvina) Eckes of Sherwood, Mrs. Alvin (Laura) Uhlig of Abbotsford, Mrs. Emil (Ellen) Uhlig of Abbotsford, Mrs. Louis (Doris) Hartl of Unity; 22 grand children; eight great grand children; one sister, Mrs. Glen Schwandt of Curtiss.
