Heimbach, Gertrude (Marriage - 11 Dec. 1937)

The Lutheran parsonage at Dorchester was the scene of a pretty wedding when Miss Gertrude Heimbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Heimbach of Abbotsford and George Koffarnus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koffarnus of Medford, exchanged marriage vows. The Rev. J. Brandt officiated at the ceremony which took place Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

The bride wore a gown of Wallis blue with black accessories and a shoulder corsage. Miss Emma Heimbach, a sister of the bride, also in a gown of Wallis blue, was the bride’s only attendant.

Clarence Koffarnus was his brother’s attendant.

A dinner to immediate relatives and friends preceded the ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Koffarnus left on a wedding trip. They will be at home to their friends after Dec. 24th on the groom’s farm in the Town of Mayville.

The bride is well known in Abbotsford, Wis. She was employed at the Coffee Shop for the past year and a half.
