Lindner, Pauline (8 July 1871 - 14 June 1959)

Mrs. Fred Lindner died Sunday, June 14, at 2:30 P.M. at the age of 87 years of old age complications. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at Zion Lutheran church, Rev. Howard A. Timmerman officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Paul Draeger, Paul Pokallus, C. A. Nelsen, Albert Franz, Henry Schauss and Frank Goeltz, Sr.

Pauline Pagel was born in Kloberg, Pomerania, Germany, on July 8, 1871, and came to this country in 1887 and lived in Dorchester where she married Fred Lindner on September 10, 1889 after which they moved to Colby, Wis.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. C. F. (Delia) Courtney of Orlando, Florida, and Arthur Lindner of Colby, one sister, Mrs. Paul (Martha) Benzman of Milan, four grand children and three great grand children. Her husband passed away on December 4th, 1950, and one child, Anna, died in infancy.

Mrs. Lindner was well known for her fine Christian character, always performing her duties to the best of her ability, and, being of a congenial disposition, had many friends, especially among the older people of the community.
