Sniegowski, Jean (22 OCT 1949)

Miss Jean Sniegowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sniegowski, became the bride of Ben Koltis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Koltis of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), in a ceremony performed by Rev. Francis Piekarski at 9:00 o’clock, Saturday morning, Oct. 22nd, 1949 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church.

The couple was attended by Chester Sniegowski, brother of the bride, as best man, and Helen Koltis, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid.

The bride was attired in a teal blue suit with grey accessories and wore a corsage of white roses. Her bridesmaid was dressed in a grey suit with green accessories and a corsage of red roses.

The groom wore a blue suit.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s brother, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sniegowski in the Town of Reseburg, and a wedding dance attended by many friends was held at the American Legion Hall in the city in the evening.

After a honeymoon spent in northern Wisconsin the newlyweds will make their home on a farm near Thorp.

Out of town guests attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bogue, Ted and Helen Koltis, betty Hoeschel, Mr. and Mrs. John Sniegowski of Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Lutz of Evergreen Park, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Lewerenz, Chippewa Falls, Wis.
