Andruszkiewicz, Marie (22 OCT 1949)

Mr. Bernard Peetz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peetz of Gilman, and Miss Marie Andruszkiewicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Andruszkiewicz of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in the holy bonds of matrimony in a ceremony performed by Rev. Ernest Kaim at St. Hedwig’s Church here at ten o’clock Saturday morning, Oct. 22nd, 1949.

The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white silk satin with long train. Her fingertip lace veil fell from a beaded crown and she carried a wedding bouquet of white chrysanthemums.

Attending the couple were Leon Andruszkiewicz Jr. and Louis Przybylski. Marie Forness as maid of honor, wore a gown of gold silk satin. Other bridesmaids were Ethyl Sokolowski, Irma Ristch and Josephine Kotecki, who with Miss Przybylski, were attired in floor length gowns of Nile green silk satin. All the ladies carried bouquets of yellow and white chrysanthemums.

Betty Forness, the groom’s nice, was flower girl and wore a floor length dress of white silk satin. Louis Andruszkiewicz, the bride’s brother, was ring bearer.

Ushers were Donald Raether, Eugene Przybylski and Leonard Przybylski.

The groom wore a grey pin-striped suit.

Following the ceremony a reception to the couple was held at the P.N.A. Hall in Thorp, which continued throughout the day.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and the Wis. Dells.

The groom is employed on the Soo Line Railroad as a power shovel operator.

Miller, Jim Falls, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Leander Fohl, Marshfield, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Adam Czoryinski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hinz, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. J.K. Melville, Chippewa Falls, Wis.
