Carl Jessen of Withee was a Greenwood caller Tuesday.

Mrs. August Noetzel was a Neillsville caller last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Carter were Neillsville callers last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. L. Arbs and Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Carter spent Sunday at Pike Lake.

M. Anderson and family of Stevens Point spent Sunday here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Anderson.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Neuenfeldt and two sons, Gerald and James, were Marshfield callers Monday.

W.T. Copeland was taken to the Luther Hospital at Eau Claire last week where he is receiving treatment for leakage of the heart.

Mr. and Mrs. Walsh of Eau Claire spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. May Hoffman. They brought Mrs. Hoffman and her mother back to Greenwood by auto after they spent the week at Eau Claire at the Walsh home.

J. O'Connell and daughter Irene spent from Wednesday until Monday with relatives and friends at Fox Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moors of Rice Lake spent Friday night and part of Sunday with the Gullord's.

Mrs. John Witt of Marshfield spent several days at the Gullord home.

Dr. and Mrs. R.E. McIntyre of Eau Claire spent Sunday here with friends.

Charles, Lillian, Hattie and Helen Symanski of Nekoosa spent Sunday here at the home of their sister, Mrs. A.D. Lyon.

Sigrud Bergum has purchased the Brandt farm, just west of Greenwood, and will take possession of same about Oct. 1.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Varney and son of Wausau were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. N.J. Carter.

Greenwood and vicinity is being well represented at the Clark County Fair at Neillsville this week.

There will be a big auction sale on the C.A. Olson place by Overhouse and Copeland, Friday, Oct. 2nd. Everything will be sold.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Meeks and daughters of Park Falls were Sunday visitors at the John Pauley home.

Miss Leona Henricks and Mr. Neal Van Dyke of Milwaukee spent last week at the Sam Smith home on Route 4.

Dan Gates and family have moved from the Baker place into the McCormick residence. Mr. Gates is the local Watkins dealer.

Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Mahnke of Green, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kissler of Neillsville were callers at the F.E. Miller home last Thursday.

Mrs. Ed Arends entertained Suffragettes at her home last Thursday evening.

Viola and Jessie Barr and Arlene McMahon visited Hazel Barr's school Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hogenson of Owen visited at the home of H.A. Damrow Sunday p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Braun left for Sheboygan Friday morning to attend a wedding. They are expected back Wednesday.

Mr. Walter Stauss of Eau Claire was a Greenwood caller Wednesday.

Mrs. Arnold Beyer entertained Merry-go-round at her home Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Fred Tolleth is spending the week with her sister, Mrs. Harold Stabnow.

Mrs. J. Fradette and son John and Mrs. A.C. Barr and daughter Hazel were Neillsville visitors Saturday.

Mrs. L.C. Clute, Mrs. R.H. Clute and Mrs. Wm. Batz were Neillsville callers Saturday.

Mrs. O.C. Behrens entertained Schafskopf Club at the home of Mrs. Fred Behrens, Wednesday evening.

Donald, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stabnow, underwent a slight operation at Loyal Tuesday. The little fellow is gaining nicely.
