V. O. Grosshuesch officiating.

A white floor-length gown made with a French lace bodice and nylon tulle yoke with a Queen Anne collar and long sleeves was worn by the bride. The bouffant skirt was of nylon net and lace. Miss Nancy Lee Blank of Greenwood was her sister’s maid of honor. Miss Carol Jane Goetz of Spencer was bridesmaid. They wore dresses in aqua and Persian rose color of taffeta, designed with bateau neckline and bouffant skirts and carried matching carnation bouquets.

Attending the groom was his brother, Allen Schmutzler of Riplinger and his cousin, John Witte, Jr., of Colby, Wis. Ushers were cousins of the groom, Neal Witte and Arlyn Hanne.

A reception and buffet supper were held at the home of the bride’s parents in Greenwood.
