Klopf, Erna #2 (1896? - 17 NOV 1905)

A very sad loss has befallen the family of Gottlieb Klopf, in the death of the little daughter Erna, aged 9 years, following an operation for appendicitis at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield last Thursday, to which place she had been taken that morning on the advice of Drs. Bradbury and Bachman. The operation was performed at 4 p.m. that day, and she died Friday evening between 9 and 10 o’clock.

The body was brought home Saturday, where it rested until midnight Sunday, when the family took it to Milwaukee for burial in a lot they own. Mr. and Mrs. Klopf and the daughter Meta have universal sympathy.
